Volunteering for
the Fishermen's Mission

The Fishermen's Mission is grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who support our work in the ports and across the country. Without their selfless support our fight against poverty and despair in the UK's fishing communities could not continue.

We have lots for you to do.  You might like to help at fundraising events, look after our Alberts!  We need help with sending out publicity, giving talks, helping with collections.

We'll make sure you get all the information and training you need and we'll reimburse agreed out of pocket expenses. You can apply by calling our FREEPHONE number 0800 634 1020 or by downloading the application form.

We can then talk through what you'd like to do.  We're particularly keen for people to help us form local groups to publicise the work of the Mission and organise local fundraising events. But if this isn't up your street there are loads more opportunities besides.

Volunteers play an important hands-on role supporting fishermen and their families. They help in the Centres, and act as volunteer welfare workers.

Please email fundraising@rnmdsf.org.uk or call 0800 634 1020, give just a little time and make a big difference to the lives of fishermen and their families.
