Raising funds for the Fishermen’s Mission by completing only one challenge is impressive, but Margaret weny much further. . Margaret took on the Scottish Highland Treble of a 32km cycle, 13km canoe and a climb up Ben Nevis. Raising money for the Fishermen’s Mission was a very personal choice for as her family have received support from the Fishermen’s Mission in the past. Margaret commented:
“The Fishermen’s Mission were there for my family when my father was diagnosed with vascular dementia and my brother was tragically lost at sea in a fishing accident. They understand the reality and dangers associated with fishing and knew how to help us in our pain and grief.”
Magnificent Margaret raised nearly £2,000 and we are so proud that Margaret chose to support us.
Doing something extraordinary in their memory of a loved one is a special way to raise funds for the Fishermen’s Mission. Please contact us – we’d love to hear your story.
