If you’re willing, we’re ready!

Giving your time to the Fishermen’s Mission as a volunteerKilkeel-Fishermen's-Mission-1
will make a world of difference to our fight against poverty and despair in the UK’s fishing communities.

We’re looking for people like you; people who care, are considerate and want to help our fishermen and their families.

We’ve got lots for you to do!

We’re so grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who already selflessly support our work in the ports and across the country.

But we need more volunteers; would you like to join us? You can help by:

  • Looking after our Alberts, the collecting boxes
  • Helping at fundraising events
  • Sending out publicity materials
  • Giving talks
  • Helping with collections
  • Becoming a volunteer welfare worker in our centres
  • Forming a local group to publicise our work and organise fundraising events.

These are just suggestions however; there are so many ways you can help so please get in touch to talk about how you’d like to help.

We’ll provide all the information and training you need before you begin, and we’ll reimburse agreed expenses

Eager? Interested? Want to know more?
