Part of Seafarers Awareness Week. An event for all the family!
Theme for this year: In this special year as we celebrate Her Majesty the Queen on her 90th Birthday we remember that the Queen is the Patron of the Fishermen’s Mission.
Meet Albert the Fisherman! The Mascot of the Fishermen’s Mission.
MISSION AID is a fun day but also demonstrates how the Fishermen’s Mission cares for fishermen & their families in practical, financial and spiritual support, in the North East & beyond.
Mission Aid is also part of Seafarers Awareness Week which has just taken place, and will highlight all seafarers “who go down to the sea in ships”
The Fishermen’s Mission is very grateful to the support of the Old Low Light, North Shields Fish Quay Company Limited and local sponsors for enabling this event to take place.
All proceeds of this fundraising event will go to the Fishermen’s Mission.
