Frankie’s Charity Cycle Sportive
Get on your bike for fifth Frankie’s Charity Cycle Sportive
Registration and sponsorship forms are now available for the fifth annual Frankie’s Charity Cycle Sportive, which will be held on Sunday 30th August.
Last year more than 50 people took part, helping the Brae chippy to raise a whopping £10,000 for the Fishermen’s Mission.
This year the proceeds will be split between the Fishermen’s Mission and Alzheimer’s Research UK and Cancer Research UK.
Frankie’s manager Carlyn Kearney said: “As ever, the 10-mile, 20-mile and 40-mile routes will be open to cyclists of all ages and abilities so we hope you will be able to come along and have a fun day – with a fish supper from the UK’s best fish and chip shop waiting for you at the end!
“Once again we will be holding a bumper raffle and we would appeal to local businesses and individuals to help by contributing prizes. It will be drawn at Frankie’s after completion of the cycle event.”
Registration forms can be downloaded from our website www.frankiesfishandchips.com or picked up from the shop. Sponsorship forms can be picked up from the shop or one can be sent out – please call 01806 522700 to request one.
