Limited Edition Hard back of “Salt of the Earth”

The Fishermen’s Mission has 10 Limited Edition hard back books of “Salt of the Earth”. The photograph album, based on the fishing community of Newlyn was launched in November of last year. The book of strong black and white portraits with biographies of the fishing community in and around Newlyn were so popular that the first edition sold out in only 8 weeks therefore another run of books was republished in January of this year. So popular are the books, that this Limited Edition of the hard backs was produced. Pictured Below is local fisherman Barry with his two grand children, Barry is holding the new hard back and is featured on the front cover. A creative fundraising project, all the monies from the sales of Salt of the Earth, to date has raised £25,000 for the Fishermen’s Mission. Reliant on donations only, the Fishermen’s Mission offers welfare support, promotes safety and responds to emergencies to the fishing community, active and retired.
