The Fishermen’s Mission Superintendents (Tony Jewitt & Tracey Stephens) Plus Volunteers are Tandem Riding from Whitby to Boston, Lincolnshire.

Superintendent Tracey Stephens and Tony Jewitt joined the Fishermen’s Mission Staff in 2010 and always spoke of a fundraising challenge that involved riding a tandem.

8 years on this will become a reality, in August they will take on the ‘Tour De Fish Mish’  with volunteers to ride a tandem from Whitby to Boston. Training has begun and there are two organised training sessions to master the skill. The tour starts on Monday 20th August in Whitby – Bridlington.

Planned route

  • 21st Bridlington to Hull
  • 22nd Hull to Grimsby
  • 23rd Grimsby to Skegness
  • 24th Skegness to Boston

It is hoped that this will raise awareness if the Fishermen’s Mission and provide a fundraising opportunity to support our vital work along the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coasts.
