About the event
Fishermen are invited to learn about the signs and symptoms of cancer from healthcare services and similar community services. This is a fantastic event to help you lower your risk of cancer and learn what to do if you do contract it.
You can learn through:
- anatomical models
- lung and bladder screening on-site
- informational brochures and pamphlets
- ‘Swap to stop’ assistance to quit smoking
- a pop-up stall from Macmillan Cancer Support
- chats with our C Aware Cancer Champions
- our Fish Mish stall
This event is free of charge.
