The Posh Room
Looking for the perfect outfit for your next fancy occasion, but don’t want to break the bank? The Posh Room is the perfect solution, with a range of sizes of formal and party wear for great prices. You can find:
Donate your goods
From tiny objects like buttons to (working) electrical goods – we are delighted to receive your donations. They will help us raise funds to support fishermen and their families across the UK. So long as the items are clean and in decent condition, we welcome them.
Please bring donations during opening hours so we can receive them safely.
Note, at times we may stop taking donations due to a lack of space.
Volunteer with us
Our Helston shop is run by a brilliant team, led by Mel. You will find a warm, welcoming space for everyone who comes through the door.
Volunteering with us is a great way to:

- support a cause rooted in care and community.

Parking and accessibility
On-street parking is available for 30 minutes at a time, otherwise Wendron Street carpark or Tyacke Road carpark are both short walks away.
There is a small one-inch step into the shop navigable by most mobility aids including wheelchairs, and plenty of room on our ground floor to move around. Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access to our upper floor, but we are happy to accommodate any visitors by bringing items of interest to them on the ground floor.
