Funeral Collections
Honour your loved one by creating a funeral or memorial collection.
Take care of what is important
Arranging a funeral or memorial can feel overwhelming, especially while you are grieving. We are on hand to help.
For some families, choosing donations instead of flowers can be a meaningful way to remember someone they love, while helping others through hardship and loss.

Funeral donation envelopes
We can provide printed donation envelopes for a funeral or memorial service. These can be placed on seats, near the order of service, or shared with family members.
We will make sure everything is clear, respectful, and easy to use.
Online funeral notices and collections
Creating a Tribute page to serve as a funeral notice and collections page allows you to:
These tributes can be especially helpful for those who cannot attend the funeral in person, giving them a way to send their well-wishes. Setting up an online funeral notice and collection only takes a few minutes. You can fill out the form below or read more about creating a tribute.

Please note: filling out this form will send data to our partners at MuchLoved who will host your Collection page.
What is the difference between a Funeral Collection page and a Tribute?
Both pages will allow you to leave a meaningful tribute to your loved one. The only difference is that you’ll be asked to add the funeral arrangements when setting up a funeral notice page.
Once the funeral has taken place, you have the option to hide these details and have a lasting tribute to your loved one.
How long does it take to set up a funeral collection page?
It only takes a few minutes to set up the page for your loved one and to receive donations to support us at the Fishermen’s Mission. However, you may like to spend time personalising the page. You’ll be able to come back and do this at any time.
Can I personalise the page?
Yes, you can upload treasured photos, videos and music and share as much as you like about your loved one. It is a space to celebrate everything that made them special.
The ‘Tribute Settings’ link is where you make functional changes, such as editing page features, managing visitor contributions, and setting up notifications enabling you to keep up to date with photos and thoughts added by others.
How do I share the funeral collection page with family and friends?
You can share the page with family and friends by giving them the unique website address (URL) at the top of the page. You may find it’s easiest to share this digitally for example, using email or messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Many people include the URL for the funeral notice in the Order of Service. A QR code can also be provided.
How can friends and family contribute
Family and friends can light candles, add photos, share memories, leave messages of support, and make donations in your loved one’s memory. You have the option to change this feature if you wish.
The ‘Contribution Settings’ allow you to choose to be notified when a new visitor contribution is made or review a contribution before it’s displayed on the page.
Can offline donations that have been collected by cheque or other methods be added to my funeral collections page?
Yes, you can add offline donations through the Tribute Settings. Adding offline donations is optional but will mean you’ll be able to see all the money raised in your loved one’s memory in one place.
How long will my page last?
If you wish, your page will be a permanent online memorial to your loved one.
